What Compads does

Compads helps businesses monitor public competitor ads and ad activity trends using data provided by Meta APIs and user-configured sources.

Data we process

• Account data: email, hashed password, login timestamps, and basic profile metadata.
• Workspace data: saved competitors, date ranges, sync settings, and dashboard preferences.
• Ad intelligence data: ad metadata, creative references, and analytics derived from permitted API data.
• Technical/security data: logs needed for abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and service security.

Purpose and legal basis

• Provide the service you requested and keep your workspace functional (performance of a contract).
• Maintain security, reliability, fraud/abuse prevention, and incident handling (legitimate interest).
• Comply with legal obligations, where applicable.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers acting on our instructions. We share data only when required by law or to protect rights and security.

International transfers (Meta and other providers)

Some processing may involve transfers outside the EU/EEA, including to the United States when using Meta platform integrations. For such transfers, we rely on applicable GDPR transfer mechanisms, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where relevant and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), with supplementary measures when required.

Retention

Data is kept while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time via the Data Deletion page. Minimal security and legal logs may be retained for a limited period where required.

Your rights

• Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable law allows.
• Request data portability where applicable.
• File a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children

Compads is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
